Freeview - Digital Television – No Subscription
Whilst 'Freeview' offers a wider choice with approximately 30 TV and 20 radio
channels as opposed to just receiving the conventional channels BBC1, BBC2,
ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5, it may also serve as a solution to those living in a
poor reception area.
'Freeview' can be obtained via a compatible roof top aerial by connecting a
'Freeview' set top receiver to the TV (alternatively, certain TVs have 'Freeview'
integrated) and is the home viewing choice for viewers who do not wish to pay a
monthly subscription for premium channels.
You can check online see whether your postcode is covered by the 'Freeview'
service and for available channels, however an on site signal test by an Aerials &
Satellites engineer will determine the possibility of receiving 'Freeview' from an
alternative transmitter, where generally the postcode area is not covered.
To have your aerial checked for compatibility, replaced with new, or for a signal
test, please contact us to arrange a visit from a engineer.
